Home Reading
They should be reading for 10-15 minutes each night.  The bag and the book should be returned daily.  Books will not be exchanged without a parent signature. Please keep track of reading on your reading calendar.
If books are lost or damaged there is a $5.00 replacement cost, if the book is found your money will be returned.

Spelling
Please remember to practice your spelling words. Spelling tests will be given at the end of the week.  This week we will be working with the ‘en’ and ‘am’ chunks.

Jackets
The weather is unpredictable this time of year.  Please send a jacket.  We had a few cold kiddos last week.
Show and Tell
On Friday Sept 22nd please bring something that begins with the letter “D‘’. 
I’m looking forward to meeting with you during SEP week.
