Feb 7^th – First Grade Spelling Bee

Feb 14^th – Valentine Party

Feb 19^th – President’s Day - NO SCHOOL

Spelling Bee

All students will participate in the class spelling bee.  The top two kids in each class will compete in the First Grade Spelling Bee.

Valentines

We will have a class party on Feb. 14^th.  Students can bring valentines for their classmates.  We have 26 kiddos.  Please only have your student write whom it is FROM.  It is easier to pass out if we are not looking for the TO part - and you won’t need a class list.

Show and Tell

On Friday February 2nd please bring something that begins with the letter “P”.

100’s Day

Please help your student find 100 things that will fit in their bag.  They are welcome to share it with the class OR not.  Some examples could be, Legos, paper clips, pennies, noodles, skittles, cotton balls etc. 

Show and Tell

No show and tell this week.  We will be celebrating 100’s day and sharing our collections.
