Home Reading/Fluency Folders

Keep track of your minutes

Your child should be bringing home a book bag each night. They should be reading for 10-15 minutes each night.

Please do one page per night in your fluency folder.  Do each page 3 times.

Spelling

Please remember to practice your spelling words. Spelling tests will be given at the end of the week.  This week we will be working with the ‘et’ and ‘ay’ chunks.

*net, pet, get, vet, wet, fret, set, yet, jet, bet, met, forget

*way, hay, may, lay, jay, stay, play, gray, say, day, today, hooray

*Sight words: says, was, when

Oct 31st – Halloween Parade 3:00

On Halloween we will absolutely not allow students to wear masks, wigs, or makeup of any kind. Students will be allowed to wear hair spray paint.

Tuesday: Halloween Costume

Wednesday: Sports Shirt/Jersey

Thursday: Crazy hat/crazy hair

Friday: School Shirt/School Colors

Show and Tell

On Friday Oct 27th please bring something that begins with the letter “h”.
