Please keep track of reading minutes on your reading calendar.  Turn it in for a free mini pizza at Pizza Hut. 

Don’t forget our Kite Flight for Reading & Sight. This can bring $$$ to our school.

Fluency Folders

Keep practicing in your fluency folders.  Do each page 3 times. Turn them in on Friday.

Spelling

Please remember to practice your spelling words. This week we will be working with the ‘all” and “ore” chunks.

*all, tall, hall, call, mall, fall, ball, small, wall, stall

*sore, tore, core, more, wore, score, snore, chore, shore, store

*Sight words: why, brook, stood

Mar 3^rd – Spelling Test/Sprit Day/Show and Tell

Mar 9th-10^th  – NO SCHOOL

Dr. Seuss Contest

We are trying to see which first grade class can read the most Dr. Seuss books.  Keep track of the books that your student reads or that you read to them. 

Show and Tell

On Friday March 3^rd please bring something that begins with the letter “S”.
